Description
1916 manufactured by Lithgow. Nice example of an early Australian service rifle in good shooting condition. Early volley sight timber but the appeture arm has been removed as has the rear arm and the magazine cut off plate. I bought this rifle many years ago as is. Sat in the safe, I have others for the range. Has a piling swivel which is not so common these days. Re-barreled with a Motty barrel at some point. 2nd MD issue, NSW.
